Brand New Xbox Controller (3 Days) Stuck Continuously Scrolling Right

So I got this new xbox controller from The Source three days ago and I woke up, got on xbox and my controller is stuck continuously scrolling right. I inspected the controller, the right bumper is fine, both the sticks are fine, and the d-pad
is fine. I tried playing with it and the only thing that will fight back the continuous loop is the d-pad, so I figured that was the problem. Yet, nothing would change. I followed every piece of advice from every different thread (eg. powering off xbox) and
I come back to continuous scrolling right. In the three days that i bought the controller I haven't done any damage to it, have not dropped it or anything. Everything looks fine , but I don't know how to fix this problem.

Please help.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. The only troubleshooting we have would be on our official first party controllers. Those steps would be found here : Troubleshoot

I recommend either returning the controller for an exchange/refund, or checking in with
PDP support.

If you only bought it 3 days ago, the best thing to do would be to take it back to where it was purchased for an exchange.

Hi there,

If you never had this issue before the new controller and you have tried all the usually troubleshooting options, then I would send it back for either a replacement or refund as it's clearly faulty from your description.

Maybe try a firmware update for your controller to see if that works.

I just turned on my Xbox One X today and now my dashboard just keeps scrolling to the right. I have a elite controller and two brand new controllers. They all are doing the same thing even after following the three methods listed and cleaning the RB button.
Even just turning on the Xbox itself, it'll automatically just scroll to the right with no controllers turned on. During in game it does not happen only on the dashboard. Please help and fix this issue.
