    I don't care about xbox live, I have a disk of a game. I want to put the game in and play. Did MS design a console that requires an omnipresent network in order to play ANYTHING?

    Im getting an error signing in 0x80a40011. Network test is successful, but multiplayer test is not (I don't pay for live so I don't care about this). I cannot sign in or play any game offline. Man what the hell.... can a denial of service (assuming thats
    what this is) wipe out the ability to just play a game?

    Name-your-game codes not working from new xbox ones!

    I recently purchased a new xbox one and needed to exchange for a replacement due to not reading discs. I ended up with 2 codes for the name your game bundle however it won't let me use them. I bought these systems brand new and cannot use the codes!

    Cant Download Profile or Log into new account

    So My gamertag StackableCloth9 wasnt able to be downloaded on my new xbox, I tried all sorts for a week but gave up. Made a new account (The one am posting on) with a brand new windows live id. Now instead of the error message "Xbox live cannot download
    the profile at this time" I get the message "Xbox Live cannot log in at this time" brand new to xbox one.... cannot play games due to xbox live error??>? :) Ive spent about £20 on phone calls with you guys, made a brand new account and still cant play xbox live? Both windows live ids login in fine on my laptop. Ive tried the
    whole reset password, Windows live customer support, reset cache. This is a joke.......

    Xbox Live is currently down, to play your game while it being brought back online by Microsoft, you can log out of Live/disconnect your console from the network and continue to play games offline.

    Im not signed in, and have tried to disable network. No matter what the (*@#&$(*& thing wants me to sign in before I can play terraria. I also cannot make changes because it wants an adult to sign in (which I could try to do if xbox would let me sign in....)

    Issues Reading discs error code (0x21): Your disc might be dirty or damaged.

    Just bought an xbox one took it out of the box set it up put in ryse an get this *** error seriouslyz brand new game brand new xbox this shouldn't happen.

    Console was brand new. There was no error code just a message, update failed, a system update is required to sign in to xbox live, but the update is currently unavailable. If the problem persists, visit www.xbox.com/support.

    Got this message on my old xbox and the brand new one.

    Thank you for the quick response BackwardSean, I messed up in my original question. I did not mention that the disc I bought brand new and this is an xbox one disc. The error i get states its unable to play due to the disc being a 360. The disc is for
