    Brand New Talon Media Remote Not Connecting At All


    So I just bought a Talon Media Remote for watching movies and shows on my Xbox, but I have no way of syncing it with my console. In any shape or form. I go to device control in settings and have my TV set up with my Xbox, except nothing I do with the Talon
    Remote registers. I don't have a cable box (the main reason I got it is because I just switched to YouTube TV and using my Xbox controller to change channels doesn't feel as natural), and I don't have an audio reciever so there's nothing more for me to connect.
    I even got an IR blaster that literally just came in the mail today. Again nothing. The buttons glow up when I touch it but that's all that it does. What is it that I'm not getting?

    Edit: I'm sorry if this isn't in the correct category. I've never used this before and I genuinely have no idea what this would normally be filed under

    Hello Dimenson,

    Our understanding here is that the control/remote attempting to be used on the Xbox One is the Talon Media Remote, but the console is not recognizing your TV or it's model type.

    Is this only occurring when connecting with the Talon Media Remote?

    Has there been use of other media remotes with the console?

    Has this been attempted with a different television?

    Clarify this for us and we'll be here to assist with further with this issue.

    Ah. I guess the remote is actually called "Talon Media Remote." If that helps.
