Brand new S black screen on game launch

Brand new Xbox S

2 year old LG 43un7300 TV

Hooked it up, handshake verified that the TV is compatible with 4K

Tried two games (donut County and Among Us, if it matters).

Upon game launch, the TV gave a notice about game mode, and the screen went black, although it plays the splash screen music.

Thinking it might be a resolution issue, I turned the output down to 1040, with no change, and then on to 720.

Also tried using other HDMI inputs.

The TV plays video content from a computer just fine

Do we have a bum unit?
