Brand new out of the box, the xbox one won't accept my wifi password and keeps rebooting. Bad ...

I changed my SSID and password, and the Xbox One wouldn't accept the new SSID and password until I cleared MAC address and rebooted the Xbox One.

If this is on an initial setup of a new box, I had the same problem when installing a second new XBox One S upstairs at my home. Here is how I overcame it.

1.) Hook the box up to a wired Ethernet connection with internet access

2.) Complete the initial setup and updates.

3.) Take the box back to the place you want it setup (for me this was upstairs)

4.) Go into settings and setup the wifi....for me, it did not reboot when entering the wifi password in this manner and everything works just fine via wifi since then.

with the brand new update it won't accept my email to get on to xbox live
