Brand new game on brand new Xbox One X, says corrupted

Hello.

Hopefully somebody can help me here.

I bought my son a brand new Xbox One X for Christmas along with Forza Horizon 4 and FIFA 20. (Both brand new and sealed.)

Forza installed, updated and works fine. FIFA however, despite everything I try, does not work and states 'the item you are trying to use appears to be corrupt' and states error code 0x80070570.

Searching through this forum for solutions I have tried the following but none have worked:-

Uninstalling and reinstalling.

Clearing the Blu-ray persistent storage then reinstalling.

Clearing the cache (holding the power button until powered down, then continuing to hold it for ten seconds then removing the power lead for five minutes) then reinstalling.

Uninstalling and reinstalling with the console disconnected from the Wi-Fi (so it doesn't try to update first.)

Is there anything else I could try?

As I say, FIFA was brand new so it cant be that, can it?

Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hello.

Thanks for all your advice on this but unfortunately I could not get the USB factory setting restore to work. This is what I did: Formatted the USB to NTFS, extruded the $SystemUpdate folder to the USB. I then unplugged the Xbox power cable and left for
30 seconds. I then plugged it back in, put the USB in and then pushed and held in the two small circular buttons on the front (eject and sync I believe) then pressed (and held) the power button for 30 seconds, alas no beeps. (I did this all again but this
time just pressed and let go of the power button - still no beeps.)

So, I think the console is basically broken...

My boy's grandparents actually bought it for him from Amazon so I guess it will have to go back to them.

If not try, because this is the "official" way to reset an Xbox.

Let us know what happened after this try.

Your game information is saved forever.

Deleting the profile and reloading it will not throw away any progress or teams you have..

HOpefully you get it fixed soon.

What a shame!

I know that the reset by usb procedures aren't simple. I also when did sometimes jad problems in reboot with the usb connected. Maybe with some more try you will be able to do it. But this console seems an unlucky piece of hardware.

Fortunately, Amazon's return procedure is fast and efficient, and therefore it is better to change the console. Just not to be left with the doubt that something else will happen in some time.

The Xbox Live service status by the way says everything is normal...

Don't you have the opportunity to test using an ethernet cable? Only to exclude any network related issue.

Maybe some interference on WiFi could activate some kind of the game server protection. Just a step before the disc replacement.
