Brand New Controller, Right trigger squeaks

I purchased a Master Cheif Edition Xbox in August of this year online from Gamestop. I only play Destiny and as you should know it is an FPS. So I use the right trigger to shoot. The squeaking has become unbearable; I hear it above the game sounds now. I
want to replace the controller, but I do not want to have to wait and be unable to play the game, as I only have one controller. What should I do?

New Xbox 360 controller won't hold rechargeable AA battery charge?

I just found the problem; my controller is a cheap foreign version. It's not fake, it's an actual Microsoft product, but the problems were immediately noticeable with the battery, and the right trigger starting to squeak already, among other things.

Messed up new XB1 controller

First off I'm not exactly sure if this is the best section for this but are they any standard warranty for the controllers? I got a brand new controller today and the Left Trigger is a bit messed up, it clicks, not to mention the right trigger is much stiffer
then my Day One controller.

Sorry to hear the sound is bothering you. Do you get any performance issues with the controller? The squeak isn't something that should inhibit your gaming, but if your controller is still within warranty then a Repair/Replacement is going to be your best
option to clear up that sound.

To set up service for your controller head on over to
Online Service Center and register your console and request a repair for an accessory.

I just returned the controller that came with my system because the casing was popping off and there was a loud buzzing noise when ever it rumbled. Gamestop took it back and gave me a brand new one with no problem. But guess what, the right trigger makes
a God awful squeaking noise! WTH MS?!?

WD40 is safe to use on electronics? Might need to google that.

My right trigger just recently started squeaking and the sticks have gotten loose might need to replace some parts or buy a new controller.

Haha, I'm assuming it's the metal spring causing the squeaking and not the plastic?

Annoyingly I just grabbed my Titanfall controller to squeak the trigger... And it's not squeaking, welcome back to the family again old friend!

My left trigger started squeaking during one of my gaming sessions and you are not kidding about it being annoying... I ended up taking controller apart and repositioning spring that is under trigger. Squeaking stopped after that and has not returned.
