    I literally just got home with a new 360, plugged everything in and it wont show anything on my or my parent's tv. I was told the console might be defective. Did I miss anything?

    Batman 3 won't start

    Batman 3 won't load on my son's 360. Tried two brand new copies, neither works, installed it to HD and won't work...deleted updates and re-updated...same thing.

    other games working fine, including new nba2k15.

    So basically, six brand new games that won't work for six months after they're released.

    Hey there RelativeEye0!

    Sorry to hear about the issue with your Xbox 360! I have a couple questions:

    1. Are you using HDMI or the A/V cable?
    2. Which Xbox 360 model do you have? (360, 360S, 360E)

    Having problems with lots of newer games on older 360

    Similar issue. Xbox 360 S 250gb, plays large collection of discs no problem. Brand new AC4, and Rocksmith 2014 won't load (unable to read). New AC3 plays fine. No used games, these are all brand new.

    Was it purchased brand new from a retailer or did you purchase it from somewhere like ebay? Original Xbox games require an official MS brand hard drive in order to run. If it was not purchased brand new, then it's highly likely that the hard drive is a knock-off
    and won't work with that game. If the size of the hard drive is not a 250 gb or 320 gb then that will also tell you if it's a fake. Those are the only 2 sizes official made for the Slim 360.

    We have the same problem as well. All other connected devices work properly, but the xbox 360 doesn't want to connect. We run the connection test on the xbox and sometimes it will connect, other times it won't. Brand new modem, all new connection lines,
    password is correct. Is there a firmware update needed?
