Branching Out: Lego Style

As no new games are coming out for pretty much the next two months, I have decided to go against every fiber of my being and rent a lego game. So my question, which is the best one? Xbox One only.

TEAM ALPHA 7 was established in 2006 as a competetive online gaming team, specializing in titles across the XBOX 360.

We believe in an inclusive approach to online gaming with a fun but mature atmoshphere where members feel at home and are encouraged to develop themselves further, rather than being penalised for mistakes.

The most important aspect to TA7 is its members, without which TA7 would cease to exist.

We are a multi-gamining team so we do participate across different genres with each team being managed by a team leader. This structure ensures teams are beingmanaged effectively and equally.

Lego Marvel: The Avengers.

 

I put sooooo much time into 1000/1000 completing LEGO Hobbit and I enjoyed every minute. It uses the music and diologe from the movies and with eventually have DLC when the last movie comes out. I'm a pretty big fan of LEGO games and Hobbit has to be my
favorite so far.

 

Can't go wrong with LEGO Marvel or LEGO The Hobbit, both good games.

 

Also, if you haven't tried the free Games with Gold game, Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition, I recommend that too.

 

Thanks Bent, but I'm not branching out that much! Lego Hobbit seems to be the front runner so far. I haven't watched the movies yet. Should I do that first, or does it matter?

 

Meh that depends on if you want to be spoiled. If you have read the book you know the deal. If not well you won't really be lost in the story. It's pretty easy to follow.

 

Stay away from the Indiana Jones ones, well at least the first one. It's the only one I've played and I never wanted to go back after finishing it.

 

I'll speak up for Marvel being awesome. Haven't played Hobbit yet. To catch all the references, you might need to watch the movie, read the book, read LotR & the Simarillion... but storywise, nah.

Side Topic: Lego Indiana Jones wasn't that bad, it has some pain in the butt Achievements/unlocks but most of them are pretty easy. It's the Harry Potter ones I always get warned away from. It's kind of hard to go wrong with a Lego game.

 

Gamefly just shipped me The Hobbit. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for the advice people.

 

I just got Lego:Lord of the Rings a few days ago after hearing that was an awesome game as well...if you like playing through The hobbit you should check Lord of the Rings out eventually.

 

L:LotR is not available on Xbox One... neither is Indiana Jones... I own L:MSH and have played L:TH Demo. I love Lego games. Of the 2 available on the One I would go with L:MSH.
