bounty battle is unresponsive on series x

purchased game for series x, bounty battle, on 2023 3 7. the game installed. when i launched the app, the title screen loads but the game doesnt respond to any controller input w any controller. wanted to play the game, assume it works on series x, as the store had it on sale today for series x. is there a way to purchase the game again at the sale price i purchased it earlier today for $4.99 usd? i want to play the game but cant get the game to respond to any controller inputs. jus stays unresponsive on the title screen. is this a known issue? are there any examples of the game working on series x? is there a fix?

May I confirm if the issue is happening to that game alone? How about your other games, do they work normally on your controller?

I suggest to simply reinstall the game from your system.

In my case its sticky/unresponsive a button. I just want it repaired under the warrenty I got with my series x. Also glad to see its not just me. This needs to be fixed.

Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

- Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

- Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

- Press and hold the Pair button (located on the left side of the console) and the Eject button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.

- Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

- Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.

- The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

If your console doesn't have an Eject button, you can bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter on this console by holding only the Pair button (steps 3 & 4) and then pressing the Xbox button. Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

- Once you see the Startup Troubleshooter, select Factory Reset and then choose "Keep Games and Apps"

- Once the Reset is complete, you'll be prompted to sign into your console using your Microsoft account credentials, after which you'll choose your preferred settings and your console should display normally again.

NB: A factory reset keeping games and apps will not delete your game saves as they are backed up in the cloud and will resync once you've signed in.

Thanks for the tip with the bind and eject button, got to the trouble shoot screen but have the system error E100? Can navigate to the reset buttons but when pressing them nothing happens?
