Bought Xbox One version, downloaded PC version on a now broken computer, can't download again

I pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition last year for the xbox one, I downloaded it on my laptop which is now broken so I can't do anything from there, and now I have a new PC. I want to get the game on my new PC but it's not letting me install the game (I'm
assuming it's because I have a PC copy on my laptop). What should I do? I can't access my laptop at all.

Unlocking full game bought from the web

Hello,

i downloaded an XBLA demo on my 360. I liked the game so i decided to buy the full version. I bought the game from my PC but when i connect the 360 to Xbox Live i dont know how to unlock the demo. If i choose the "Unlock Full Version" option in the game
it asks me to choose between: "play now" or "download again". If i choose to "Download again" it starts to download the whole game. I've bought several XBLA games using my 360 and the unlocking takes just a few seconds. What am i doing wrong?

Quantum Break for Windows

Hi, I bought the Quantum Break Xbox one version following the try on windows 10 link.

Problem is i don't have the xbox.

I'd like to play with the game on my windows 10 pc, but all i can find now is that i bought the wrong version and i don't have any redeem code to download the windows version.

Any suggestion?

I should be able to download a compatible version for any device I use my 1 and only acct on, especially since I have already purchased the game title on my xbox acct... How does one do that??

In short, you can't. There are no Compatable versions of Xbox 360 games available to download for free on PC.

Xbox 360 games and PC games are separate. Just because you've bought a game digitally on the 360 doesn't mean you can download a free version of the PC version.

If you want the PC versions of these games, you'll need to buy them again for the PC platform.

i redeemed an xbox gift code on microsoft, i redeemed it sucessfully but it wouldn't download.

I have tried to fix the problem but made it worse as now i can't see it download and i can't find it on my PC anymore. I tried to redeem it again and it wont let me.

What is the game? Also was the code for the Xbox or PC version of the game. Asking because redeeming a code for the Xbox version of a game wont necessarily give you the PC version unless the game is a play anywhere title.

Have you installed the correct version of it?

There are quite a lot of different versions of it, which could be confusing:

The Minecraft Dungeons launcher version: You need the minecraft dungeons launcher to play it. You can't use the other versions.
The Windows 10 / Microsoft Store version: You need to open the microsoft store app and download it from there. The other versions can't be used.
The Xbox One Version: Won't show the download button if you're on the computer, which can be confusing.

Unfortunately the Xbox version can't be played on PC just like the PC version cannot be played on the Xbox. So you would have to download it either way.
