Bought Xbox live code, redeemed it, but still SILVER member.

I recently purchased an Xbox Live 12M Gold Membership Code for my son; I have entered the code on xbox to redeem it. I am currently running into issues with trying to connect to Halo 3 matchmaking and I receive a message saying "One or more profiles do not
have permission to use Xbox LIVE". I have been trying to get connected and play multiplayer and have been receiving this message for some time.

I have checked my Xbox account and it doesn't say I am a gold member, even though I redeemed the code 2-3 weeks ago.

Any suggestions??? Thanks.

Xbox Live Gold

Hi, I bought a 3 month xbox live code and i redeemed it and everything worked fine BUT my friend sees my profile as a silver member but when i view my profile i shows gold. Anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?

Not recognised as Gold member for "My Achievements"

It shows as if I'm a Silver (Free) member, which is odd, as I've redeemed my Xbox LIVE Gold 12 Months code sometime ago already.

Try checking Sign in to your Microsoft account to make sure it shows a 12 month being redeemed and to check for any errors. If it doesn't show the code being redeemed, you would need to try redeeming
it again.

If it does show any errors, you will need to contact support directly. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or
support.xbox.com/contact-us

Same happened to me. i redeemed the code on the xbox and when i clicked redeem code it said something about an error. it says on the xbox that my membership runs out in 3 months because i renewed it today. but its still saying im a silver member. Can someone
help please?

The prepaid card you mentioned. Is this a card to redeem Xbox Live Gold? If yes, did it say it was successfully redeemed?

I'm asking you this because your gamercard shows that you're still a Xbox Live Silver member.

To get Gold Member status you will need to Redeem a 1, 3, or 12 month code card.
