Bought xbox live 12mo. Last month, no longer working

bought my son Xbox live year subscription last month for his birthday. Worked fine 2-3weeks. Last weekend he told me when he tries to go online it brings him to the screen to join Xbox live gold. Another friend said their Xbox was down also so I told him
it was probably their server. This week it says the same. Wi-Fi is definitely on. But I know nothing about his game system. Any suggestions?

Just bought 12mo gold and then reset xbox to factory

I bought xbox live gold 12mo for my xbox 1 and then it said I had to reset to factory so I did then I tried to get my xbox live back and it said I didn't have any so I bassicly just wasted $60 some dollars on a 12 12mo membership that lasted
like 2 days

REMINDER I'M VERY UPSET AND THIS IS A COMPLAINT, SO FIX YOUR XBOX1'S PEOPLE

Xbox Live Difficulties

Just bought 12mo subscription to Xbox Live. Everything was working as it should, but when my son was ready to play, we got the message that there are "too many profiles on that storage device". We tried to delete some profiles, but are not able to
access Profiles under Settings (we are not even given the option to choose it.

please double check http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there.

If the subscription shows, try the following steps

Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)

Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:
Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

Redownload your profile

If these steps fail, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at

Xbox Live Gold 1yr is usually $60. GPU is $15 per month. 4 months of Ultimate is $60. You get the amount of time that you pay for. Why would they give you 12mo of Ultimate for only $60?

Come on - just bought a new 12mo live card last week, a third controller, and two new games - had an issue updating and finally got that resolved to find out that I can't connect now!!!

MS is being pretty silent on the matter. If this is about buying a new Xbox One I have a better idea - MS can just swap me out for the same gear I currently own!!!

Yea I bought this game last month and there was a code right up in the case along with 7 free days of XBOX live? Worked fine for me.

I havent been subscribed to xbox live for longer than 4 month, it think its something between 6-12 months the last time I subscribed to Xbox live.
