    bought xbox gold online and won't work on console?


    I bought xbox gold for 3 months online for my son. I purchased it through his account in hopes there would be no errors/issues. I restarted the xbox. We logged out and logged in. It's not recognizing his gold membership. How do I get it to work?

    Problem with my Xbox One

    So this isn't really to the console but I have no xbox live gold on my account, it ran out, so I bought a 12 Month Gold membership and all it says is I already have a gold membership which makes no sense because it won't let me play online and my gold did
    run out.....I need help

    You won't need to pay for game pass to play the games that you have bought. Although you will need Xbox Live Gold to play online multiplayer.

    Are you signed in with the account that purchased the games?

    Have you tried
    power cycling     your console?
