Bought Xbox game not appearing on Xbox mobile app and Others pop up instead

Since the library shows other games you did not purchase, I would recommend checking if you are using the correct account which contains Halo: The Master Chief Collection. However, please keep in mind that the Halo: The Master Chief Collection is currently available on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One .

I already checked to see that the gamertag and email that was on my Xbox console matched the one that was on my Xbox app. However, when you say that Halo MCC is available on Xbox One and Series X does that mean that even though it does not work on the app if I sign on another Xbox One or get my own Series X the game will appear? I hope this is the case as I can live with MCC being on console alone, but if it does not appear when I upgrade to Series X then I'm going to have a problem. Is there another library other than the app I can use to confirm the presence of Halo MCC among my owned games.

Tried this but could not find the game on the Xbox app? Searched up the game and only weird mobile gta spin-off games appeared in the results. Do I have to have the disc in my system to find it on the Xbox app?

Yes the xbox companion app does recognize the games but Microsoft discontinued the ability to post clips from the xbox PC companion app and instead will give you a pop up saying that this app no longer supports this feature

That's odd, can you please try using the Xbox App on your mobile device instead?

Simply launch the Xbox App and then search the game to install.
