Bought the Wrong Prepaid Code - HELP

I bought a code for $20 of the GTAV in-game currency buy mistake, meaning to buy a $20 credit for the Xbox marketplace. Is there anything I can do about this? I have not redeemed the code.

I bought a xbox live gold 12 month prepaid code and when inputing the code it is saying 'Something went wrong'.

hi.....i bought a prepaid code for xbox live gold but every time i redeem the code appears this error...

Since it hasn't been redeemed you would need to try exchanging it with the retailer you purchased it from.

Make sure you call ASAP, it's possible they can help you with redeeming the prepaid code on the wrong account

If you bought the game on the Microsoft Store on your pc, the game is tied to your account. If you bought it anywhere else there could be the issue that you get an invalid code from the seller. Check this link first: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing/prepaid-codes/prepaid-code-errors

If that dont work out contact the store where you bought the code or game.
