Bought the 24.99 car pack, have no cars after redeeming.....any ideas?

So I bought a 24.99 car pack with 31 cars in it at Best Buy Friday. I redeemed the code on my xb1 and it stated redeemed. A buddy of mine bought the car pack same day and redeemed his code just as I did and his xb1 stated redeemed too, yet we have no cars.
What is the secret here or is something broken? I checked my garage and have no new cars that weren't there before I redeemed the code. Any help would be hot!

Mobil One Horizon2 addon.

I bought the VIP and car pass for Forza Horizon 2 but it still wants me to pay 4.99 for the Mobil car pack? Anyone else have this problem?

 

Anyone else feel like this about fh2.

It doesnt unlock every car. Only about twenty of them. To get all of them you also need to buy the vip pass, and about 3 other packs, thats on top of the car pass, the ff pack, storm island and porshe expansions.

 

They wont be in the garage. You still have to go to the auto show and buy them to put them in your garage.

 

You can't redeem them at Autoshow! I have the same problem. I paid for the season pass so I could do a monthly Rival challenge "East Shore Roar"that needed a Jaguar F-Type R Coupe. Now when I try to do the challenge it says "Installing content 0%" but nothing
installs. The Marketplace says the pack is Installed as expected but the game doesn't recognise it. How do I get the cars I paid for?

 

@Davegos - I'd try an uninstall/reinstall of the just the car pack for that problem.

 

They do show in the Autoshow.

DLC Cars

Installing DLC with cars makes each car model in the pack "Free" in the Autoshow and Buy Car menu, a one-time allowance to claim each DLC car for your garage without using credits.

Yep. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and now ir works but that process took over two hours!

 

It's been the same with all Forza games.. You have a DLC code for a car pack, VIP Code etc....you enter the code BUT the cars never show up under "My Cars"... What has happened is that instead of paying credits for the cars Iin game they now become zero
cost (Free) BUT. You have to physically download them so they appear in your "My Cars" list.. Hope this helps..

I.e say a Ford Cosworth would of cost €12,000 credits, you enter your code and it now costs nothing and says "FREE" in the place of where the credits cost would be.
