Bought my Xbox One at Gamestop on June of last year, but my warranty is already expired?

So, I got my Xbox One from Gamestop on June from last year. I still have my receipt.

Yesterday, my Xbox started making a high pitch noise that comes and goes around the vents area. Sounds like something is spinning loose.

I checked on the support page and I had to register my device in order to request a ticket. I was surprised that my Xbox One's warranty had already expired, (on March of this year to be precise).

I thought the limited warranty was supposed to last one year from purchase?

So I am wondering if I can contact Microsoft tech support and fix this issue.

Why is my account not allowed to play online when i have xbox live gold?

I bought a 1 year gold on xbox one in june last year, but when I go onto my xbox 360, it says i dont have gold when I know I do.

You may have bought the console used. In the case of GameStop, they're big on selling used games and consoles.

Microsoft's limited warranty time starts when the console is purchased brand new. The previous owner may have bought the console around March 2016, and sold it to GameStop sometime after.

If you have any sort of warranty or coverage with GameStop, I suggest taking advantage of that. Otherwise, your console is basically out-of-warranty.

sorry, i checked my xbox live gold has expire at October 1, but I bought one year's membership at June 14th, why it is expire.

This issue has been occurring since several months (since June). My warranty expired last month in August.

Any possibility if it can be covered under warranty please, as problem started during warranty period and warranty expired very recently (last month in Aug).

OK Thanks My Warranty Dosen't expire until June 2013. It's already being fixed but they talkted about the ring coming from burnouts or something like that? I also have an Xbox: Elite.
