Bought minecraft digitally but its not installing

If you have an external storage device plugged please unplug it then, please perform a power cycle reset, follow these steps:

Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

Restart your Xbox One console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox One controller to open the Power Center. Select Restart console and then select Restart. (If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button  on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

**If this doesn't work, Try to restore keeping games and apps, please be sure that you know your account email and password:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console screen, you'll see three option use this one, be sure you remember the email and password of you're accounts:

Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with Reset and keep my games & apps

I bought Black Ops 3 on disc for my son, then bought him his own Xbox One. Copied the content from the external to his his hard drive (because its quicker than installing) and bought digitally from the marketplace. No installs what so ever.

Halo 5 wasn't available on PC (from memory) so not sure if you will have bought the digital copy from the Microsoft Store for that one.

For minecraft there are a couple of versions. the Java version is only PC but if you bought the digital copy from the microsoft store then it will be available to you on the Xbox.

Forza 3 is available on both and as above, if you bought the digital copy from the microsoft store it will be available to you on the Xbox.

Once signed in on the Xbox (with the same account that owns them) under My Games & Apps they should appear in your ready to install area for you to install.

You have bought the season pass its tied to your account, same with digital games you can download and install whenever you need to, good luck and enjoy.

Discs don't show up in the ready to install after they've been uninstalled. The ready to install is for digitally owned games only, its basically your digital games library.

You have to install a game off a disc manually and then reinstall it with the disc of you want to play it again after deleting it. If you want to reinstall a deleted game that was bought digitally it would be in your ready to install.

The disc also needs to be in the console when you play it. Lol.
