Bought GOLD for a year, now it's telling me I have to renew it after about 20 days of ...

So my brother bought me Xbox live gold two years ago, and renewed it this year, so I should have it for the rest of the year. now, I try to access BO3's multiplayer, and it says I don't own it anymore, is this a glitch? If so, how do I fix it?

I am having the same problem as Mastersarge is. I just renewed my xbox live membership because it kicked me off of the family pack I was on. It said I would have to wait 5 days for the gold to renew. Well I knew I would have to renew my gold soon enough
anyways. I bought a one year subscription but now it's telling my I'm still xbox live silver on the xbox and it says I'm a free member on the computer. Help would be appreciated.

 

HELP My Xbox bought a 1 month gold subscription automatically, even though i had it set not to auto renew.

About a month ago i bought a one month gold membership, when it asked me if i wanted it to auto renew i said no.

yesterday it not only auto renewed my gold membership, but it charged me $20 instead of the $10 a one month membership costs.

so what i want is a full refund, my gold membership canceled, and my auto renew turned off like it's supposed to be.

 

I have this problem too. I just redeemed a 12 month xbox live gold but my xbox and the website isn't recognizing it. I can't download games with gold because it redirects me to a page where they tell me to buy a gold subscription

Pertlight, are you game sharing with someone? If so that configuration may have been changed.

BossLes, you are showing as silver here are you using the same credentials to log in here as you are on XBOX Live? Try removing your profile from the console and re-downloading it. You may need to contact phone support to get this account issue resolved

I am having the same issue, was in a shared account, but no longer. I was on with MS support for 2 tickets and still not resolved. They had me refresh the dashboard, remove my user account, clear cache, reinstall system from scratch, they cancelled my gold
and I purchased it again etc etc. After 5 hours in 2 support chats, I was told this was a known issue but no eta. I have asked for it to be logged with a higher level of support (which they did) but there has been no response in 9 days.

To be clear, my xbox 360 is fine (shows gold, gold deals and games with gold) but my xbox one says it needs to be renewed yet the account shows gold until 2017. I can still play games online but I cant see the deals or free games from the xbox one dashboard
(simply states gold is due up)

 

We have ways to fix this, depending on the console type that you have.

May I know what console you use?

Also, Contacting Xbox support will quickly resolve this kind of concerns.

 

PertLight02977, may I ask, have you made sure that you have signed-in the correct account that has the Xbox Live Gold subscription? There's a chance that the email where you saw the notification of Xbox Live Gold's renewal was your alternate email and when
you signed-in this one, it prompted you to buy gold which technically is the wrong account.

 

I have contacted support, see above. It is the proper account, as stated they cancelled my gold and asked me to renew all on the same xbox one and same account. This did not make a difference.

This is an xbox one launch day edition. I have been on with MS chat 2 times for over 5 hours. They have:

- removed my account and re-added it while clear cache (we did this over 10 times while performing other steps

- refreshed dashboard

- reinstalled the xbox one completely and removed home sharing

Microsoft chat raised a ticket with the advance group 2 weeks ago and I have no heard a work back since. I have a ticket number from the MS chat folks but nothing back since.

 

I am having the same issue. Works fine on the 360 but wants me to buy gold for xbox one. This just started about 2 weeks ago, before that it was working just fine on both.

 

Are your consoles getting an uninterrupted connection to Xbox Live that can be a possible main issue?
