Bought games

Discus and support Bought games in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Would be great if there was away that if we could download the games we already bought.     Would be great if there was away that if we could download the games we already bought. I mean if its a hard copy we have to download it to play it. But if we get a new xbox one and we HAVE lol download it. Which I think is a B.S.way of doing things. Why
    am I paying twice for the same damn thing

    I bought Gears of War 2 on the xbox game marketplace yesterday at 3pm and it seems to be taking forever to download. It is on 60% after 18 hours downloading... Does this seem reasonable for not?

    Hi there,

    I'm a bit confused by what you're getting at by "paying twice for the same thing". If you purchased a game digitally then you can download it again without paying for it.

    When logged in with the purchasing account - Go to My Games and Apps > Ready to Install > Select the game and redownload it.

    You can even queue it up from the Microsoft Store. I've done this a number of times and have never paid for a game I had already purchased.

    If you put the games on an external drive you can transfer the drive to the new console so you don't have to redownload any of the games.

    Ive been having the same problem tried uninstalling it and its just completely dissappeared of my xbox and its saying i have to buy it back from the stor
