Bought games disappearing?

Hey guys,

I’m hoping someone has some answers for me as I’ve been scrambling all weekend looking for anything. at the beginning of the weekend I went to play Alien Isolation on my Xbox One/S but it wouldn’t let me launch the game, and I noticed there was a tiny caution logo on the bottom that I couldn’t personally scroll to investigate. After trying so many times and getting frustrated, I restarted my console, and when that didn’t work, I forced a hard restart, then I tried logging out of my account, however the the Alien Isolation bundle disappeared off of my list of games. In panic, I checked my owned games and checked the game store to try to redownload it again but Microsoft is asking me to buy the bundle all over again. This is my favorite game, I spent a lot of money on it to get all the DLC’s and it’s been on my Xbox for years and yet have not once had this issue. Does anyone know how I can get my bought game back?

One possible solution is to check if the game is still associated with your account. You can do this by going to the Microsoft Store and searching for the game. If it shows that you have already purchased the game, try uninstalling and reinstalling it. If the issue persists, you can try checking if the person who owns this game was still set as Home Xbox. If not, then you should have them sign in and set their account as Home Xbox to ensure game ownership is accessible.

I cant find ark any where on it even though i swear to god i bought it. I did find rocket league dlc purchases but thats another game there making me buy again

Are you sure you bought the same version of the game to the one you are looking at as there are sometimes a few different versions.

If you log on to your account on microsoft.com and go to Billing order history you can check what you have previously purchased, you can go back years if you change the filter to All Available
