Bought Fortnite starter pack gift for friend on PC

I bought the Fortnite starter pack gift for my friend but he redeemed it on his Microsoft account and didn't get it in game. How can he receive the gift?

I bought something by mistake

Good evening,

today i bought the starter pack of Fortnite (the one that costs 4.99$), then i wanted to send it as a gift to another of my accounts ([Mod removed]), but then the starter pack that i sent to the other account was another starter pack. So basically i bought
two starter pack, one that I wanted, and one that i bought by mistake. I want to know how can I cancel this purchase.

Hello!

A powercycle might be your best option, hold power button for 10 seconds until console turns off and then unplug for 10 seconds. After that fire it back up and try it out.

1- Try to reset the xbox and see if so when you start update the status of the game

2- Go to manage game data and check that it is installed or pending installation.

3- Uninstall the game and restart the xbox

4-Install the games and then install all the updates, be careful not to install any updates before the game.

Tell your friend to push the xbox button on your controller, highlight fortnite and push START (3 lines button) and select Quit. Restart the game and see if the item appears.

If it's not, please wait a few hours (as this is a somewhat-common problem and takes time for this and vbucks to show up) and then have him contact their support for more help:
