Bought an Xbox One yesterday specifically for the Halo collection, just now finding out ...

Before anyone says the obvious "it's all over the web", I typically do not mess around on forums or gaming sites because of the immaturity of bickering and this is Halo so why would I need to look up a review. It's a Microsoft product, I trusted Microsoft
and I got burned just like the rest of you.

I bought the Xbox One because ONLY because:

• I saw the TV ad for the Halo Collection and decided why not that a reason for me to buy an Xbox One now
  
• I got a great deal on the Assassins Creed bundle $300
• Picked up Halo at Walmart with an Amazon price match of $50

I came home and set up my Xbox One.

Do the system update.

Order Gold.

Pop in the Halo disc and wait for that to update.

Start playing the campaign first to see how it looks and after a couple of hours decide to jump into the multplayer - and nothing. I check my internet connection to make sure that's not it, pulling 100mps so no issues there. I check to make sure I have everything
set up proper on the Xbox, all good. Then I do a search for the game to see to if there are any known issues and find out the game is broken.

I contact support (joke) and they offer to do nothing for me, absolutely nothing. Tail between the legs and just basically admitted, yeah MS sold you a broken product, sorry.

At this point I am so furious at MS for the way I have been treated and advertising the game (which is IMO a great reason to buy an Xbox One), and NOT telling consumers who don't use forums or look up reviews on a game like Halo that the game is broken.
Or at least inform stores or pull it that I am ready to sell my Xbox One, return the game and just eat the Gold. That to me reeks of a company that does not care about their fanbase and they only care about the bottom line. It's a horrible way to treat your
customers.

Besides my rant of fury, I really can't understand how a company as large as Microsoft would allow this to happen before the release without testing the servers and then continue to advertise on TV a broken game to consumers who were oblivious to it being
broken.

Trouble finding a match

Sir you are in the same place I am, you bought the game (I bought an Xbox One for this reason only) and I am sorry to inform you that the game is 100% broken and matchmaking isn't happening.
