Bought an xbox one s halo edition and didnt get rise of iron

I bought a halo xbox s bundle from best buy a few days ago before this promotion came out. Buy Any Xbox One S Bundle, Get An Additional Game - Xbox Wire

I saw this promotion so i asked bestbuy to honor it and give me the rise of iron code. They said they cant microsoft would have to do thay since its their promotion. I spoke to a representative through the xbox store they said i would have to post on here.
Can i please have someone help me with this promotion.

Can't buy Destiny: The Rise of Iron

Im having the same problem.. I went to gamestop and bought Rise of iron for $30 and instead of getting rise of iron it gave me $30...??

ok, so a while back I bought Destiny: Rise of Iron for my pre-existing Destiny: The Taken King disc on the xbox store, and all was good.

I just recently upgraded to the Xbox One S from my older xbox one, and have run into a problem. I installed The Taken King from the disc without a problem, but when I went to the store to download Rise of Iron, it would not let me download it on its own.
It now only comes in a bundle with Destiny; The collection. I even tried to download it on my brothers account, which I think was the one we originally purchased Rise of Iron with. we have both profiles on the same Xbox and both play the game, but I was still
unsuccessful. I strongly feel like I'm being screwed over here. I do not, will not pay $79.99 for Rise of Iron, especially when I have already bought and own the full game.

If someone could please help me figure this out, their support would be much appreciated.

 

Unfortunately you were given some incorrect information. Since that is a physical bundle, support here will not be able to assist. They can only assist with digital promotions through Xbox. You would have to continue working with Best Buy.
