Bought a year membership for xbox one

If you go to account.microsoft.com under subscriptions does it show your xbox gold membership there. Make sure this is the same account on your xbox, the email addresses have to match up.

On the computer it will tell you if the code has been redeemed or if it is valid.

The code may not have been activated or in a lot of cases it may have been redeemed on a different account

How exactly isn't it "working online"?

As WPAK already described, check that your account has the subscription properly added at http://account.microsoft.com/services.

Then on the console, in the settings, check that the network is properly working, and do a Multiplayer test on the console.

Does that show any errors?

What game are you trying to play online? Do you get a specific error message or something? If so, please mention it here.

If the subscription shows, try the following steps

1. Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)

2. Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

3. Redownload your profile

sorry, i checked my xbox live gold has expire at October 1, but I bought one year's membership at June 14th, why it is expire.

Misses Quinzel, I have gray on the gamercard, but I am the one on my xbox who actually owns the gold membership (and it isn't a trial membership), and obviously I should have access to my games. I can't understand because I've a bought a year for XBL membership.
