Bought a xbox one can't even play it

What the hell?? I bought an xbox one today 4 hours later I'm still yet to play it as it has to update 904mb and is only 20% of the way through after 3 hours. And no my Internet isn't slow normally download that much in 20 minutes or so.

This got me upset won't even get to play it as Sunday almost over and I'll have to work all week.

Come on give me some bandwidth Microsoft

I cannot even get on my game I paid 60 bucks for gtav and can't even play it, it downloaded and when I went to click on it to play it kept sending me to the store to buy it again , also I bought xbox pass can't play a single thing not even payday2 that I
bought the pass for so I could continue playing it .. now I realize I am new to xbox one but come on man this crap is getting on my nerves I bought 3 things today which cost me 70 bucks and can't use any of them wtf Microsoft somebody help me out on this cause
I'm about to say heck with it and give up on xbox one

I bought gears of war 4, i can't even play it

I recently purchased GOW4, and am unable to play gears of war 4 due to non stop disconnecting. I have **** internet so this shouldn't be a problem. I play League and Overwatch and many other games ALL THE TIME with 0 issues whatsoever. Please help.

The gamertag has nothing to do with whether or not an update will download.

If you are still having issues with the update please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down.

There is a list of all backwards compatible games on Xbox.com

If the game you have the physical version of is not on there then it can't be played on the Xbox One or even be bought digitally. So you're gonna have to play it on the 360.

Despite the Xbox status saying things are fine, we still can't get into Minecraft (same error code others are reporting). We just bought our Xbox One yesterday and my husband is being *** that we're having these issues. We can't even play offline.

And that text alert you can sign up for? Never got one, even tho the status changed to "up and running".

In order to properly game share with someone else you need to enable Home Xbox in the other console.

If I recall correctly, the thing that you're saying is a workaround not official. (Sign in with the account that owns the game, open the game and switch the profile)

If you're not able to play using that method is due to is not supported and you're trying to trick the Xbox system. (That could lead to an account ban)
