Bought a.xb1 Halo bundle and the download code doesn't work.

I bought a Halo.bundle xb1 bundle last week finally got around to ddownloadin MCC. I open the card enter the 25 digit password and it tells me the code can't be found. If it said the codes been used id know i got ripped off. I contacted Microsoft to try
and fix it and they told me take it back to the retailer. I bought it from.Walmart, there's no way Walmart will.take credit for a mistake that was a already sealed and packaged in a product. What are my options here? I feel I got ripped off because I wouldn't
have bought the bundle or spent the extra $50 on a different next generation console. I'd just like to get this fixed and is assume with the 2 other Barcodes with numbers would be enuff information to figure out the exact card. X box support never asked for
the code themselves to try and verify. All they did was try and pass the and to blame the best Retailer. It's unacceptable customers support that

Lost Halo MCC Bundle Code

I lost the download code for the Halo MCC from the Xbox One bundle I bought.. Is it possible to get a new code?

Hi there! Sorry to hear this.

I think the best way to handle this is to try contact Xbox Support again, and this time simply tell them that the code you received does not work. With any luck, they should ask you for the code to see what they can do with it.

If they tell you they can't do anything, try asking for your case to be elevated, hopefully they can pass you up to someone who might be able to help a bit better.

 

I also wanted to add a couple of points here.

1. If the card can be scanned by the Kinect and you have a Kinect, give that a try.

2. Be sure that you are typing the code in properly. Sometimes O can be mistaken for 0 or B for 8. Be sure that all characters are entered correctly when doing it by hand.

3. Walmart may take the console and card back on an exchange if you explain the situation to them. Be sure you have the receipt.

If all else fails then be sure to do as medium bloke suggested above.

 

I tried contacting Microsoft support again and they blame Walmart again. I've been trying twitter and they're slightly more helpful but not much. And I haven't tried going back to Walmart because I am not trying to reformat my system and then waste gas going
there with the high probability they tell me it's Microsofts fault. and then.have to download all my games again. I.don't have a kinect but I used a qr scanner on it and the same #s pop up that are written on the card.

 

Unfortunately trying to deal with Walmart may be the only option you have left. You may want to try calling them to see if they can just swap the card out before you do take the entire system back.
