    Bought a used xbox one, need to remove it from the preview program.


    I bought an xbox one used, and I want to remove it from the preview program. Tried contacting support, and there was no help at all. Can someone please help me out here.

    Bought used Xbox that's part of the preview program.

    I bought a used Xbox one, that seems to be a part of the preview program, and I can't contact the previous owner anymore. I need to remove this console from the program because it's been really glitchy. Please help me.

    Unregister new Xbox preview

    You will need to first post and the preview forums.

    Next you need to download the preview dashboard app which was sent to all of us via an Xbox message....use this app to remove the console from the preview program.

    If you never downloaded the preview dashboard app you will also need to create one post not to asking for a new token to download the preview dashboard app and then use that app to remove the console from the preview program.

    If you haven't yet, you'll want to post over in the
    Preview Program Forums     and let them know you'd like to have the console removed. They should be able to help you out there fairly quickly. Bought a used xbox one, need to remove it from the preview program. :)

    One Preview FAQ     page. If you are referring to the Xbox 360 Preview Program, you will need to make post in the Xbox 360 Preview Forum for

    Removal from Xbox One Preview

    You have to use the registration app on your Xbox One to be removed from the preview program. Be advised this will remove you from all future previews, but you will remain in the current wave.

    Ah ok. Then your console is really registered in the preview program as the 1409 is the newest beta version.

    So as I think you bought the console used and are not wanting to participate in the preview program, there are two possibilities for you:

    1. Ask the one you bought the console from, to have the console unregistered. He can do this using his gamertag and the dashboard preview app on that console.

    2. Send a PM to "XB1R Hermes" or "Miss Portia" letting them know you want to be removed from the program. They may be able to help you out and unregister your console from the program.
