Bought a US xbox one but want to use it in EU

Hello,

I bought a xbox one from Amazon.com

I live in the netherlands and i want to use a EU power supply since the US wont work also i tried it with a converter and didnt help (lights turned out when i put it in the converter didnt had my xbox connected) so i saw a whole new eu power supply on internet
with the specs

input: 100-240V 1.78A 47-63Hz

Output 12V 10.83A 5Vsb 1.0A

we use 230 V here in the netherlands so that should be fine

Anyway will the american xbox take this or will it burn?

Where to buy Power cord for Xbox One S

Hey!

Just wonder if you can help me? I have bought a Xbox One S in USA when i was on vacation and I'm back home in EU Sweden.

So i wonder is there a way to buy a EU power cord because i can't use the USA one?

All consoles are the same,it's only the power brick & some software that is diferent so a U.S. console will work fine in the Netherelands.

Using power converters or 3rd party power bricks is not recommended as they can cause no end of issues with your console & void any warranty you have.

Daft Badger is right. Anything that might occur when you use a third party device might void the warranty. Also, Microsoft won't be liable as you yourself have used a third party device that was not bundled with the product. What I would highly recommend
doing would be to contact support to have a replacement power supply directly from xbox. You just send in your psu then they will send back a psu that is usable for your region. Though they might charge you for the adapter or converter they will include with
your new psu.

Contact (800) 469-9269 once in US and ask for guidance regarding your device usage in a different wattage region

So basically if you bought it in the EU then you get it In eu warranty

Should be noted if you sent an us xbox from EU it would have to be sent back to the US at yoir own cost to an us address and then use prepaid shipping label from.xbox to the repair center for US Consoles

Warranties dont carry internationally you have to return it to the point of origin first
