Bought a Resealed Xbox One the other day.

So i recently bought a resealed xbox one the other day from a local retailer (emag.ro) and all was nice until i got to setting up the console. I powered it up and it said that this console is banned. What can i do in this case ? Can i return it.

In my country stores often practice the sale of Resealed products ( products sold new and returned by customers in original packaging are often resealed and sold again), does it qualify for return as i have no way to prove that i got it like this.

Should i probably go check with them first?

Achievements not unlocking

I am trying to activate the Day One achievement as I bought a day one xbox off amazon the other day. The code was "redeemed" but I never got the achievement for it.

Xbox One Titanfall Bundle 2 Version

Based on the youtube unboxing videos, there are two versions of Xbox One Titanfall bundle. The first version is "cover slip", in which Microsoft puts a Titanfall cover slip over a "standard green box" Xbox one console. Apparently, Microsoft opened the standard xbox
one retail box and put in the Titanfall full game download card and the 1 month of xbox live membership. Then, Microsoft resealed th package with a Titanfall coverslip. The second version of Xbox one Titanfall bundle is the "black box" cover. The entire retail
box is brand new, not "resealed". I preordered my xbox one Titanfall bundle from Microsoft store. If they sent me the "repackaged" version of the XBOX One Titanfall, I'm going to definitely return it and try to get the new version. Did anybody else get the
Xbox one Titanfall Bundle? Which version did you get and where did you get it?

Also amazon aren't the only people that sell on amazon, and the number of people that don't know this is unbelievable.

Used to work for a major retailer and this has the right of it IMO. Not to mention that resealing a box is sometimes easy enough... not always, but the big question is reseal for
what purpose? Most items listed as refurbed still come in their own packaging, usually identical to the packaging of the same item when new. A refurbed item will typically have a sticker, on OEM packaging, that indicates it's a refurbished item.

It's more likely for a "refurbished" sticker to be removed from the packaging, if a company were to try and pull a scam. But if memory serves, that sticker isn't coming off the
package without doing obvious damage.

IMO, it's more likely that a refurbed unit would be put into a "new item's" package, but then... what happened to the new item that was in there to begin with?

Not saying it hasn't happened or doesn't happen... just that the odds of it aren't as high as one might suspect they are, considering all the other things that would have to add
up to make it worthwhile to do it.

You can't as it's discontinued

It can't be sealed I'm guessing it was a resealed

You can't get decade old games still sealed unless you bought it from a collector forza games arent collectible

The game is over a 9years old and currently discontinued

You are going to have to ask amazon to step in
