    Hi there. Bought a Minecraft Realm on PC. I don't see it in the Minecraft app. Now, I just want a refund because I was charged without getting the product I paid for.

    I'm extremely frustrated to have to post here instead of having an option to speak to a human. There was no option to send an email or log into a chat or call. Instead, I'm posting to this random online community to ask for a refund for a product I paid for but can't use. This is the third issue I'm having with Microsoft this week, and I've had so many issues with Microsoft before. I despise that I can't speak to a human. I HATE HATE HATE it.

    Are you ... making fun of me? Those aren't Microsoft websites, they're the developer. I didn't purchase through them, I purchased through Microsoft. The link you gave says this about Windows 10 purchases: "We cannot provide refunds for this platform. Microsoft Digital Store inquiries are processed by their support team here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/"

    I'm still looking for a refund from Microsoft.

    If you aren't making fun of me, I'm sorry if I'm being rude. I'm very fed up with Microsoft customer service and I don't mean to take it out on you. I just lost 7 years of work data due to Microsoft OneDrive issues which could have been prevented had they had a human available. I had a recent 6 month fight to get an Xbox repaired within warranty due to a hardware issue out of the box. As a customer, it feels purposefully and painfully difficult to get customer service.

    You can indeed contact the support through: Contact us | Xbox Support regarding the issue!

    If you encounter any issues requesting a call back or live chat on the Xbox support website, I recommend visiting Microsoft support.

    Once you get to the virtual agent just say “Talk to an agent” and select Xbox as the product, and your issue from the list.

    Select the option “Call me back” or “Live chat”, which shows the estimated wait time/queue.

    Thanks for the quick reply. Perhaps you can help me to find a human to talk to, because the rosy picture of "Select[ing] the option 'Call me back'" isn't at all available to suffering Microsoft customers. When I try ("Contact Us" link (1) above > Billing and Subscriptions > Request a refund), a message pops up saying that calls and chat are not available for this issue. In fact, they're not available for any options I've tried. Instead I'm redirected to this link (2):

    But I'm told I never bought anything from Microsoft, which surely is false because I've been playing Minecraft and I've had Xbox games. I tried other links on the page like "Request a subscription refund", redirecting me to this link (3):

    But there, I'm redirected to the Services & subscription and given instructions to follow at the page at this link (4):

    But then the instructions (click Manage > Payment settings > Cancel immediately and get a refund) aren't showing up on the screen. After Manage, the only option is another link to "Get billing help" at this link (do you see my frustration now?) (5):

    At this point I've been signed out. I click another link (6) to sign in.

    And another link (7) to enter a password (why is this different?).

    Then I click again (8) to be returned to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account?ui=en-US&rs=en-CA&ad=CA and... there's nothing there but a search bar, under "Account help." I type in "I would like a refund" and the word "account" is unhelpfully added to my search in all caps to bring me to this link (9):

    The word account wasn't what I wanted so I delete it and try again to be redirected to this link (10):

    And then I'm given a bunch of drop-downs (12, 13, 14, and so on) like "Why don't I see my purchase in the list?", none of which apply to me, but they waste more of my time.

    I'm sure that was frustrating for you to read, because it was frustrating for me to go through multiple times. It's insulting that I have to go through all this and still can't resort to a human when things aren't working. Could a human at Microsoft give me a number to call, or email me please? They charged me but I never received the product. Otherwise how else can I go about getting a refund?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    For cases like this what we initially need to do is to quit the game and perform power cycle in that way once you launch the game your in-game data will just re-sync.

    Kindly quit the game and follow the steps below before you re-launch the game.

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​
