Another option is to perform a system reset, this has worked in some cases.

Go to Start > Settings > System > Recovery. Next to Reset this PC , select Reset PC. Then, select Keep my files.

I bought Minecraft on Minecraft.net and I purchased it on the laptop I am currently using.

have new laptop with windows 8.1 on it, won't load taptiles. tried uninstall reinstall with no luck. Have it on other devices works fine. anyone have a solution?
