Bought a gears of war xbox bundle when it came out but codes never arrived

So i bought the gears of war xbox bundle when it came out and was naturally excited i played alot of gears 4 on my fancy new red xbox one s and gears controller then as gamers tend to do i got distracted and played other games

So today i was feeling nostalgic and went back to play my gears collection when to my suprise i found only gears 4 and not 1,2,3, judgment, 4 like I expected to have since i was promised just that on purchase

So I looked online and it said it was supposed to use xbox msg to send me codes so i hopped on and found several unredeemed codes so claimed em all and no gears games still

Wondering why i never got my codes? And if i may get them now?

No Gears of War code in my Gears of War 1TB bundle box.

Chat told me to post here so please help. I bought a 1TB Gears of War bundle Xbox One S. It came sealed (but I would still like to investigate if it is refurbished or anything). Retailer has none left to exchange for. Missing Gears of War code. Please help

gears of war 1 and 3 codes are not working

i got gears of war 1,2,3 codes when i bought the xbox bundle with gears of war 4. i redeemed 2 but 1 and 3 are not working.Please help me.

You are given a 5 minute window to edit your post before the ability to edit is removed. The Gears of War 4 bundle included the codes inside the box, and were not sent out via Xbox Live message. Only digital pre-orders would have been sent the codes through
Xbox Live messages. The best advice we can provide here will be to check the box your console came in to find the codes, however we are unable to assist further if the codes cannot be located.

still doesn’t explain why part of the post vanished?

The Gears of War 4 bundle included the codes inside the box, and were not sent out via Xbox Live message. Only digital pre-orders would have been sent the codes through Xbox Live messages.

That isn’t what gears of war site itself says so im gunna say that’s incorrect Gears of War now backwards compatible on Xbox One | Games | Gears of War - Official Site and
since I bought the gears of war xbox special bundle (my xbox and controller are the gears of war model) it was supposed to include them all only the code for 4 was included and i did play gears during the times specified but the codes never came

I did check all packaging there where no further codes and walmart doesn’t help after 90 days

Thanks for linking the post! The Gears of War Ultimate Edition promotion was a promotion done back in 2015, before the Gears of War 4 pre-order promotion. While they are a little similar with the rewards, the two promotions are still different as the Ultimate
Edition promotion occurred well before Gears of War 4 was released. As I mentioned in the earlier reply, the Gears of War 4 console bundle included the codes inside the box.

I know it’s an old promo i just never noticed the games missing until now

If i was unclear before my gears of war game that i got with my gears of war xbox isnt a physical copy its a digital copy

 

I'm surprised I actually even managed to find the post for the xbox that I bought from Walmart.com but they wont help after 90 days

last line there is why I assumed I had the whole collection but it never showed and was nowhere inside of packaging

Their post literally says “download of Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition (card with code included in box)“ which it did indeed have so no failure on their part

it also says “For a limited time, get the entire Xbox 360 Gears of War collection for download on Xbox One at no additional cost*“ (aka from Microsoft) via xbox msg service as stated by you yourself "For those who purchase digitally, your codes will be
sent via Xbox Live message – we’ll be sharing more information on digital distribution closer to launch."

So by the quotation that you referred to and stood by

NO THE CARDS FOR OTHER GAMES ARENT IN THE BOX (your codes will be sent via Xbox Live message – we’ll be sharing more information on digital distribution closer to launch.")

I have the one card for my DIGITAL copy “For those who purchase digitally, your codes will be sent via Xbox Live message“ and I never received the other games like I was supposed to since they never came via xbox message which is a service hosted by you
meaning the issue is with Microsoft not walmart

You got the game as part of a physical bundle. Yes the download was digital, but you did not purchase it digitally from Xbox.

 

Wamart support even said only one game card is in the box

And they said that codes should have come via messenger so there is nothing they could do even if it was within the 90 days
