Bought a game off the Xbox store and says I need a disk to play.

That happened to me aswell with wwe2k15

I have the same issue as Embezel and Titofate, I re-downloaded the game and deleted the cache and still says disk is unreadable even though i bought it off the marketplace and don't need a disk for it. Microsoft plz help!!!

i haven't tried to save the game data from the normal game to the GOTY issue....but i did used to own Fallout 3, and played it, then sold it. then decided i really needed it again so bought the GOTY issue - and it's exactly the same disk (the box says "Game
Of The Year Edition", the game disk doesn't) but you get an extra disk with all the DL content. You only ever play off the single original F3 disk though - like Forza3 - you load the data off disk 1 - but only ever play off disk 2

on that basis i would imagine you can save the data from your originial F3 game, and carry on from those saves (though please don't come shouting at me if this doesn't work!!)

ya I checked and the game is backward compatible.. So even though I bought it off the xbox live store are you saying I am still going to need an external hard drive to be able to play them??
