Bought a digital game but it says I do not own it

So I recently bought Assassin's Creed: Unity, as it was on sale. I installed it to the point where it started, I try to boot the game up and I get "Getting your game ready, this will take a minute or two." Then, after a few seconds, it says I don't own
the game I just bought. I get "Do you own this game or app" and I head to Microsoft store to check and, even though it just installed, I have to buy it again? What do I do?

removing your account, performing a
power-cycle, and re-adding your account to your Xbox One.

Ok when you say you own thr game do you mean you bought the disk or thr digital copy?

If disk then no as you don't own the digital game and no you do need the disk to verify ownership

As with every other digital only console you nerd digital ownership

Thanks for letting me know, its a disappointing answer to my question but at least i wont have to keep looking

If you bought it from the website, that is the console version of the game. You would need to buy the PC version from the Microsoft Store app to play it on PC.

I bought it on my only account that I use and the game is on the buy history.
