Bought a digital game as a gift, but is not compatible

I recently had gifted a digital game to my friend, after redeeming the code we had then realized that the game was not compatible with their console and received a "not compatible" on the gifted game in their library. Is there any process to getting the game exchanged for the correct console or a refund to purchase the correct version.

Now if ita Hogwarts legacy andnyou got deluxe then he got the correct version he just needs to wait till the xbox one version comes out in april

More and more games will be incompatible with Xbox One or feature separate versions, so you need to look at what you’re buying

Hogwarts will not have an Xbox One version until April due to production delays

The console is the XBox One and yes the game is Hogwarts Legacy Xbox Series X|S Version
