Bought a brand new Xbox series X and I can’t even play one game

I just bought a brand new Xbox One X, but when I go to the store, Flight Simulator and other Xbox Series X/S games say they are "not playable on this device" and I can't get Flight Simulator to install on my brand new Xbox One X because it says it's "not compatible". Very frustrating.

So you bought an Xbox One X and expected to be able to play an Xbox Series X game on it?

Why would a game made for an Xbox Series X work on an Xbox One X?

If you want to play Xbox Series X/S games I would take your brand new Xbox One X back to the store you bought it and see if they will take it back and you could try and buy an Xbox Series S (Series X consoles are very hard to find, but a Series S can be found fairly easilly)

playstation has the exact same issues too, i know for a fact.

I have the digital game and I bought it on the same account that I am signing into the new Xbox and when I download the game it still says I don’t have the game and I can’t play any of the games that I bought in my old Xbox on my series x.

Can't be terribly odd, I recently bought a brand new series x for my partner, and she has expressed a great deal of consternation at the fact that her controller (even a different, brand new one) will not maintain a connection, often when playing games like Overwatch and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. She's followed all of the troubleshooting tips, always coming to the same conclusion.

Is sending the Xbox in the only viable solution? I'd hate for her to go without her new birthday present for any amount of time over this.

As I said I bought it on my Xbox one X and played it and had it on my catalog ! Now after checking on my Xbox series X it’s not there ! Even the add on game showed up but not the main game !
