Bought a banned console and need help lifting the ban even though I have a perfectly clean ...

currently bought a used Xbox one that has a console ban and even though I’m now the new owner I can not communicate via messages or chat enforcement team please respond and and help lift this ban PLEASE!!!

i need help lifting my ban off my Xbox I bought it of a selling site what said it was in good condition but when got back we found out it was banned please lift the ban

Did you buy the console used?

If your account's Enforcement record is clean and your console itself is banned, you may have inadvertently purchased a banned console. There is unfortunately no way to reverse that console ban, so you will need to look into getting your money back from
whoever you bought it from.

If you bought the console brand new, you will want to return it to your retailer for an exchange or refund.

 

If it's a permanent ban, it can't be lifted. You would need to return it to where you bought it for a refund/exchange.

Smwutches is correct. If the console is banned then just return it to where you got it from and get another one.

Console bans are never lifted regardless of change of ownership.

 

Most console bans are permanent, I would return the console.

 

From what support told me it’s just a temporary ban that lasts until Jan the 4th. I just don’t want to wait that long because I don’t have the money to return this one and afford another being the holidays and all.

 

If it's temporary then all you can do is wait it out, but it would really be better to exchange it. There is no way to contact the enforcement team regarding console bans.
