Bought 360 version but CAN'T get the XBOX ONE version????!!

Yes, we are all getting the same run around from support. I advise everyone to file a complaint with FTC and BBB for false advertising. It's a very simple process and only takes a few minutes. The fact that I am unable to get a refund is beyond me, if
you didn't fulfill your end of the bargain then I should be entitled to it no questions asked. Instead I have a broken english rep telling me to delete my profile and to wait 48 hours etc. A complete cluster and I can clearly see why M$ is now loosing the
console war...

 

Spoke with Activision support and they told me that it's because of high download traffic....... I told them that is irrelevant to my problem, I am unable to get the option of downloading the game for free. The person didn't know what to do and sounded like
she was to busy having a conversation with the person next to her than to assist me. They dropped the ball big time on this one, can't even have a digital release go smoothly? This is ridiculous! I should of just given them half the money up front for my digital
Xbox 360 game and the rest once I received my Xbox One version, bet they would figure out a way to fix this problem instead of just sitting back like nothing is happening.

 

I brought that up in my chat with @xboxsupport and they completely denied it and said that's not possible, I even sent them a link to confirm it! I can't believe I couldn't even get a refund. I have that some people are getting credits in their accounts
to pay for the Xbox One version today, but I could not get them to do it! Couldn't even get them to give me some points for Customer Satisfaction!

There had better be something good coming out of this, or all of my future purchases will be on PS4, and the Xbox One will go Bye Bye.

I feel your pain but it's not all wine and roses on the other aisle. Driveclub retail game has been non-functional since launch a month ago and the "free" version is all but cancelled. Their latest console OS update has some serious bugs...was released
8 days ago and still no word on a patch.

I'm anxious to get COD:AW running on my Xbox One, also. I also own both consoles, while favoring Xbox One for most multiplatform games due to its superior feature set. Trust me...switching sides in the "console war" just puts you in the middle of a whole
new set of problems.

Hopefully this issue will be resolved shortly.

 

Here are some steps I got from support. Take them for what they are.

--

1. Remove your profile from the Xbox One

2. Clear MAC Address ( Go to Settings> Network> Advanced> Alternate MAC Address> Clear> Restart ) -- Make sure you test the network connection at this point.

3. Redownload your profile

4. Restart your router.

5. Attempt to reinstall the game.

I haven't had a chance to try this just yet but will in about 2 hours. I'll update this if it helps me any ( or even if it doesn't ).

Since I have owned the PS4 I have not encountered one issue as bad as this, The worst was the hack on Playstation network. In all the years I had PSN I never had to contact them, and never had to pay to play online, until recently. Over the years Microsofts
stupid Fort Knox like security to play freakin games online is 10 times as complicated as my highest credit limit card! One time it took me 10 days to get my sons account back online because of all the hoops they make you jump thru.

Is hacking of gamertag accounts really that big of a problem, that I should have to do triple back jumps to get my account back online?

Sorry but in the overall console univerese of which I have had every one, I have never had as many problems as I have had with MS....I should have know better

 

And Here Xbox is the link to prove that Playstation owners can go either way with their purchase PS3 to PS4 or PS4 to PS3 you choice....................we on Xbox apparently can't get either...

Well, to each their own, I guess. Seeing as though problem is now resolved, I suspect it will fade into the distant memory soon enough. Much like the prerelease of MLB The Show which went live almost a day late. Or Driveclub which is still awaiting fixes.

Not saying Sony is any worse than Microsoft. Rather they both have skeletons in their respective closets.

Additionally, does anyone even know if this was truly a Microsoft issue vs. an Activision issue? Seems like COD was having its share of download problems on Sony platforms, too.

Glad it's working but Honestly this will be the last Digital download for me. If you buy a game brick n mortar and it doesn't work you take it back and get another...not get the runaround.

Oh and by the way, did anyone actually recieve a notice or email that it was good? Would like to know
