On June 13 I purchased 3 months of Xbox Live Gold through my console, in order to receive a free copy of Rocket League as per the promo involving this. I have seen many others on this forum and around the internet who have also had problems with this very
same issue. After talking multiple times to both Microsoft support and Psyonix support, the only real guidance I have received has been to post my problem here. I am now approaching 2 weeks of this problem being unresolved, and I would greatly appreciate any
help I can get.

library, but I still have not received the game.

No Rocket League code received from June promotion

Hello,

I bought the 3 months xbox live gold subscription in the end of June via the xbox dashboard and did not receive the Rocket League code yet.

After multiple xbox support chats, I was told to post here notifying the promotions team that I too haven't gotten the game code as of now.

You should receive the code by July 31. If you don't have it by that date, you'll need to post back here.

I think there may be 2 different promos for Rocket League. There is the one you bought it through and then there is one that was for E3 that did require a 3 month subscription.

Phone and chat support don't handle promotions so they don't always have correct information.

Depending on where/how you bought 3 months Xbox Live Gold, you don't get a code for Rocket League.

If you bought the 3 months Xbox Live Gold through your console, you should get the game added automatically to your account. Simply download it.

If you bought 3 months in an (online) store, you get the code either printed on the receipt, or via mail from the store. In that case, you'll need to contact the store from which you bought the 3 month code for the Rocket League code.

I purchased the Xbox Live Gold subscription through the Xbox Dashboard advertisement, I guess in the fine print it must have said it had to be a 3 month subscription somewhere but it took me to a page to choose from either the 3, 6, or 12 month subscription.
Since the advertisement on the dashboard had said you get a free copy of Rocket League with the purchase of an xbox live gold membership, I guess I had thought there wouldn't be a limiting factor to where i had to buy the 3 month subscription to get the game.
Through the advertisement there was no indication that it had to be the 3 month when i got to the purchase screen, so like i said, i guess i assumed i could get the 12 month and everything would be okay. Thank you for your time and clarification!
