Both XBOX Series X controllers stopped working simultaneously.

Hello,

I've had my Xbox Series X for about 8 months. This includes the controller it came with. I bought a second controller over the summer which I've now had for six months. I do not play every day and I take very good care of my controllers. I was playing a game recently when suddenly the right analog stick started drifting without me touching it. I thought the batteries were low, so I changed them, and nothing happened. I decided to switch controllers and had no problem with the other one. However, within the week, my second controller replicated the same exact issue. Now, both controllers have progressively gotten worse. I can't play any game without spinning in circles or having a player in a game, such as FIFA, perform unwanted tasks that ruin the playing experience. I was curious about what I could do, as it is clearly a manufacturing issue, whether there is a fix or if I have to get replacement controllers. Anything helps, thanks.

Based on the description, it appears that you are having an issue on XBOX Series X controllers that stopped working. I'm glad you took the time to consider this for us so we can help you figure it out for you.

Before anything else, let me ask you the following questions below so that I fully understand the problem.

1. May I know where you purchased your XBOX Series X controllers?

If you purchase your control from MS store you may request for a repair on controller - Getting your Xbox device serviced | Xbox Support

but if it's from a local store, you need to go back there and request repair or replacement if applicable.

My controller stop working too series x , factory controller . Last night working and today my samsung tv remote control my xbox and the xbox controller no longuer view by the xbox , i use another controller from my other xbox seris s , and this controller work but not the one work last night , i try the little button to match xbox with but nothing , the controller do no longuer view on my xbox series x , can control de series s but can't be view or connect to the series x anymore

And, if it were not backwards compatible, you might have to wait until the release of Xbox Series X, as they have said they have stopped working on bringing Backwards Compatible titles to Xbox One until the Series X launch to get Backwards Compatibility
up and running on the Series X. Form there, I imagine they will move back to bringing titles to both Series X and Xbox One for a few more years.

The second Xbox series x installed but never working with error

when moved to bedroom I even traded from Apple device working Ethernet working fine,…?

Why did the working Apple net-working cable stop or NOT WORKing at 2nd Xbox?

To be fair, madden and basketball 2k are 2003 versions working fine in both xbox‘s locations. My only failure is the new flight simulator.

When putting that Ethernet cable working fine in Apple streaming still work fine BUT not like to help the 2nd Xbox series x when swapping Xbox series x as I said not working in bedroom as the ‘Xbox” say I have 1008 mbps was working. That is GBps speed gigabit? But flight simulator won’t work unless I swap them again?

Do I have to delete the bedroom Xbox completely to reformat it, even though the hardware in both boxes have gigawatt speed? Showing when looking at the system speed?
