Both of my xbox one controllers drift up

I have had this problem for months, which on the xbox 360 i used tyo play hours a day and now i only play a few hours a month now. I literally only use it for Netflix or hulu because of this. The on i got with my xbox one lasted a few weeks. So then i went
and bought a new one, literally a few days so i stopped playing games on my xbox on in general. I would like to get these replaced or fixed because i am not going to buy another brand new controller to not work. Thank you for your time.

Xbox ONE controllers are poorly manufactured

ive had my X1 since launch and both my controllers are junk. they both have left thumb stick drift. one controllers drifts down and the other up and right. but if you look at my controllers both are centers by eye.

I ended up yesterday going and buying the new call of duty limited edition controller for 70.00. I love it but do HOPE they have learned and this controller does NOT get those issues. Controllers cost far to much to keep replacing

Left thumb stick drift

After researching this for several weeks and trying all the suggested XBOX ONE CS tips to include ensuring the controllers are update to date firmware wise this morning I still have an upwards drift one both of my xbox controllers. The day one remote and
the extra purchased at a later date.

Has there really been no fix for this even months after after it was first reported that is crazy...!

Why would there not be an area in the system where controllers are "zeroed" to resting levels correcting this issue? Even the Wii sets the controllers to a resting level before gameplay. How many customers would be happy with this ability to fix drift in
their controllers?

Please tell me what I can do to get this controller drift fixed..! even on the XBOX ONE home screen the second you take your thumb off the stick it goes to the top of the screen. It drifts up to the top in every game and in every menu as soon as you release
it.

If the controllers are out of warranty your only real option is to purchase a new controller. If either is still under warranty you could contact support for a replacement. support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

That is strange. I've only ever had stick drift on my old 360 controllers. I don't know if the standard Xbox one controllers have it, but the Xbox Elite controller sticks can be adjusted to have dead zones to avoid drift. Check in the Xbox Accessories
app if you can adjust it for normal controllers.

Have my elite controller set up and still drifts. Can't do standard controller. Did notice they drift worse on any COD.

The FPS is a good test for controllers.

My 360 controllers would last for a several years before needing replacement.

My Xbox One controllers are a different story. Not made very well IMO as I have had to replace 2. The life span of each controller has been about 6-7 months.

My LS was drifting up on both.
