    Both my Series X and S turn on together


    So I just set up my Series X and gave my son my S. His family account is under my Live account. Now whenever I turn my X on, his S turns on as well, but not the other way around. I tried turning off auto sign in, but that didn’t help. We’re both in the same house. Is there a way to turn this feature off?

    Okay so just to make sure I understand.....

    I make my sons Series S (MY) Home Console.....

    He can play Online with me if I am on my PC signed in as me.
    I can also sign into my own Series X and play my games.

    We wont be playing together on XBOX on both Series S and Series X.

    So could u still play a game on a old gen if it says optimized for Xbox series x/s

    You would have to check if the game was released on older gen or not. If it says it's only for Series S/X, then no. If it says it'll work on both the One and Series S/X, then yes.

    A game can be optimized for the Series S/X but still work on both, but not always.

    The Series S/X version is only playable on the Series S/X and will not work on the One. The Xbox One version will work on both.
