Bot difficulty on DLC

First off, I am an old man, 54, and I always play Wargame or Squad **** so I don't have to play against humans. I am not a good player but I love the COD games, especially the ones where I can play against bots; they don't care if I am last place or if I
am the reason for the loss of the game.. The majority of the time I use the "Play Now" option and I am the only human player. On the new DLC as you know, we don't have the option to choose Recruit or Regular for the bots. Have any of you noticed that the
bots are very good on the new maps? There are also some glitches, or whatever you call them, because there are times where I will flash bang the enemy, and they will throw an arm up over their eyes, yet still manage to kill me, and on the replay they will
have both hands on their guns!!

I like the idea of "join in progress" but only for unranked games.

The AI on legendary is quite tough. Especially if you turn on some skulls that make them even more difficult. So if they added bots (not expected) then I am sure they would have a difficulty level. In GOW3 I think if you are playing the mp the bots default
to insane difficulty. Which means some get an instant headshot on you. Some are brutal difficult to beat, others are not so intelligent.

 

Let's Talk About Squad Mode!

I played some Wargames with two friends the other night on Hardened difficulty, and one of them commented that you'd never know you were playing bots.

 

I have notice that some how my squad are playing against other squads now. maybe now when you play squads you are playing against other gamers squads MEMBERS now and not the A.I . it is fun to play squads at times... Shog 60 are you playing on the XB1 if
so I would love to add you am 42 love gaming with the order crowd....

 

If you play MP, you'll develop your skill sets at a much faster rate. Plus, you're earning more XP, not to mention the fact that you're progressing towards Operations and Camos. So, why bother with Squads? I understand why someone would like to play Safeguard,
but anything else seems like a time-waster.

 

I dont play squads stuff, but I sometimes play in private matches with my son against bots. They can be pretty tough sometimes. Its as if they play according to how well you are playing regardless of what setting they are on.

I'll set the bots on recruit, and my son who is only 5 can run around jumping off cliffs just for the fun of it, shooting at signs on the walls, etc.... and he'll go positive. Meanwhile, I'll try to play serious against the same bots and they'll start
whooping on me.

I've even watched them stand beside him and shoot at the same spot on the wall, then turn and pick me off half way across the map hipfiring.

 

@ItsWarPig I have a couple of 360's, no XB1. I keep one in the house and the other one is in my "man cave", connected wirelessly, the fastest internet I have available at my location is 3.0 dsl, I can really tell a difference if I go online with that wireless
one, lag like crazy! Since I have such a slow internet connection I will probably never get an XB1, the disadvantage of living out in the rural areas....but I can shoot my real guns and nobody cares .

@ALMiGHTY AWX I can see your point, but it really bothers me when I finish last place 95% of the time, and I hinder my team more than I help it. At my age, my skill is as good as it's ever going

to be. My poor eyes and my reflexes are going fast. I love the FPS games, but it really sucks to see my level of playing ability go down year after year, heck almost month after month. I know that one of these days I will have to put my controller down
for good, and it's really hard to accept.......

@ a tired old guy Yes!! If I run and gun they "magically" appear around the next corner. If I sit still, they rarely come around. I can run around like a mad man, but the minute I load up a flash bang and get ready to throw it, there he is getting the drop
on me and killing me before I can get my gun back!!

I still love the game and having the option to play against bots is really important to me.

Thats how I do it when I want to try out rewards and such. I can easily go 30/1or2 against them with a knife (recruit) and thats how my 5 year old goes on nice killstreaks.
