Discus and support Bot accounts on Xbox app?? in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Seems to be that fake accounts have been bot liking my posts, anyone else having this happen??     Bot accounts on Xbox app??


    Seems to be that fake accounts have been bot liking my posts, anyone else having this happen?? It's always an account that has an avatar of a girl, no friends, many followers, bio usually has some type of compacted font, and I haven't found on that is ever
    actually online? To name a few I have seen on my activity alerts tab: Killa, Smodge, Opp. I have a feeling some service is being offered to help grow followers on Xbox by spamming others posts with random likes. I do not have a problem with likes on my posts
    but just a heads up lol.

    Forum bots.

    Perfect solution! How about Microsoft makes it so where you only can create a Xbox Live Account, on a Xbox Console? Then bots couldn't create multiple fake accounts. I doubt they're created manually. You just need a bot email as well to make an account on
    Xbox.com. Even if they where created manually, it would take them a lot longer to make a bot account if they needed to do it through an Xbox. Suggestions about this opinion are welcome (as if you would share them any who I didn't want them).

    But is it jailbreaks or a app modified on pc in a bad way doing it?
    No, it's simply a bot that is creating new bogus Microsoft accounts using new bogus e-mails. A Microsoft account includes a gamertag, which opens up the entire Xbox Live network of users. So it's nothing wrong with Xbox Live in that sense (nothing got hacked);
    it's just a bot with a gamertag messaging every gamertag it can find before it gets blocked.

    Please Read... Spam & Fake Accounts.

    Unfortunately, spam bots are an evil that comes with the PC integration. It’s easier to make accounts and with the Xbox App/website you can easily send messages. If you remember the time before Xbox connected to Windows, there weren’t any/not nearly as many.
    At least from my experience.



    I agree that they should start enforcing firmer restrictions on newer accounts to help hinder the spam bots.
    Such as having to earn 1 achievement before they can send messages.

    I have tried the Xbox custom caption settings, it does affect the app.

    The only options for Xbox support are a 1-800 number, the chat bot, and this. I tried the chat bot, (not helpful) and I am not looking forward to being on hold on the phone for this issue.
