Why is it so hard to get an Orange weapon in Borderlands 2?

Grinding and playing with a group of four help a lot when fighting bosses/mini bosses to get better loot.

 

I gotta update my SLs sorcerer is 86 and hunter is 40 if anyone needs help with bosses, let me know which boss and i will try to help as best as i can, will not do bed of chaos however took me 10 tries to kill mine

 

Bed of Chaos isn't hard to beat as long as you destroy the core on her left side first.(Your right side)

The other core can be dealt with easily with the longbow while hugging the wall. The center part of her is best dealt with light-medium armor to run past her hands as they can't be blocked and will kill you quickly regardless of your stats.

 

Honestly I can say, if you have the right armor (Havel and shield) and a BK halberd (as well as a lot of green clumps), the Four Kings aren't too hard either. You just have to get all up in their face 2-handed and pull the shield out when you see them telegraph
an AoE attack. DON'T RUSH THEM (or they'll gangbang you), let them come at you then rush them... unless they do the grappling Dark Hand move.



Btw the Dark hand itself seems to act like a mini Magic Barrier in itself (survived a Homing Soulmass+Soul Spear to the face with it)

 

Yes, you should rush the 4 Kings. They are timed. The next king comes out at a preset time, so the longer you hold back the less time you have to kill one before another one spawns.

Also, the dark hand is just like any other shield, except with low stability. It actually has very good magic defense (80% defense across the board I believe) so I'm not surprised you could survive soulmass + soul spear.

 

^Also, don't forget to keep swinging at the King's during their death animation. They still take damage and you very often end up with 2 1/2 Kings instead of 4.

 

the only boss for me thats a headache anymore is the bed of chaos, even with a good shield if I get hit while jumping I die

 

If you do it right, you don't have to jump. Assuming that you're speaking of jumping to the root in the middle that leads to the actual part of the boss that you need to kill, on the right, there's a piece of floor that sticks out a bit (after the floor
in the middle has dropped away). From that, you can drop down to the root that you are jumping to. If you cause the left hand to do a vertical sweep instead of horizontal, there's time to run in and drop down instead of jumping.
