i don't think they're gonna ddo that because there is a dark souls for the next gen, the scholar of the first sin edition, it's the same for games like gta or skyrim

Finally picked up scholar of the first sin. Loving it!

Are you on Vanilla (Dark Souls 2 360), or Scholar of the First Sin?

I am unsure they will since Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin is on the One.

The dark souls 2 scholar of the first sin is dark souls 2 definitive edition. In description states has all of dark souls 2 content released to date and much more. So the regular dark souls 2 edition will not become backward compatible.

Although could be wrong, as there is a dark souls remastered that is dark souls 1 out for Xbox one.
