Bose qc 35 on Xbox one

I have bose qc35ii and i bought a third-party qc 25 cable with the inline mic and is meant for Android. The cable works fine on my Android phone and on my Windows 10 Pc. However when i plug them in to my xbox, I am only able to hear party chat, and I can
also talk through the mic. Another problem is that the audio only comes through left ear cup.

This is where it gets weird. I read on another forum post that this issue is because the headphones are set to 1 channel output. I plugged my headphones into my windows 10 pc to try to find this setting myself. I didn't find this setting, but i did find
that if I went to Sound Control Panel>speakers>properties>default format, i could change the the bit and frequency of the the headphones. I set my headphones to 24bit 48000Hz and then plugged my headphones back in my xbox controller, and they worked perfectly.
But this didn't last because if i unplugged the headphones or tuened the controller off, the headphones would revert back to their original state.

I continued to tinker with this and found that it didn't matter what format the headphones were set to, as long as you changed the format of the headphones when you plug them into your xbox they worked. I also found that changing the spatial audio got the
    headphones to work also.

Although this solved the problem it's very impractical to have to plug your headset into a pc and mess with its its settings everytime you want to use them on your xbox. Plus you might accidentally mess with a setting that cna completely render your headphones
    useless.

I guess now that we know its possible to smoothly use bose qc 35ii on xbox, the next step is to find a way to make them permanently work on the xbox.

    :)

Bose Bose VR 35: Bose Soundbar 500 Setup For Xbox Surround Sound

Depending on your TV, the Audio Return Channel might not support surround sound from other inputs, like the other HDMI input from your Xbox. Most TVs only send multi-channel audio via ARC if the sound is produced in the TV's tuner, like Live TV, or attached
    media drives.

Since the Bose Soundbar seemingly supports optical TOSLINK, your best option would be to add an optical cable between your Soundbar, and the optical output of your Xbox console.

Covert Forces Controller and Bose QC15

I believe you need to purchase an OMTP to CTIA adapter, but am not positive. I am trying to find an answer to a similar question as well. I can't get my Bose QC 20 earbuds to work, and purchased the set for the Samsung Galaxy in hopes they would work (We
all know adapters are necessary for anything Apple).

XBOX ONE unable to control Bose Lifestyle 35 Volume

By manually entering the code 1933 (Settings > TV & Guide > Troubleshoot > Enter Device Code), I was finally able to get my Lifestyle 35 Series IV to communicate.

Also, you'll want to be sure that your Bose system is set to accept IR commands. Do this within the Bose system settings (you'll have to have video output from the main unit hooked up to your TV).
