Bose Bluetooth headset paired with tv + iRig mic Lav connected to controller.

    Hello all.

I've got a new 55BX LG tv, I paired my Bose QC35 to the tv, audio output is thru the headset. Now as the mic in the headset wont work of course, so I thought that connecting an external mic to the controller would allow me to party chat, which it did with some hiccups.

If I don't connect the mic to the controller, I can hear on the QC35 the game audio + chat audio. When I connect the mic to the controller I stop hearing chat audio. My party friends can hear what I say, so microphone is working, but I can't hear what they say. Once I unplug the mic from the controller, I can hear again thru the headset the chat audio as well.

Any idea why is this? Some incompatibility, or misconfiguration in the settings?

    Thanks in advance

    G.

    :)

Unable to connect Turtle Beach stealth 600 2nd gen to xbox, can anyone please help?

    Hi,

I have xbox one s and bluetooth controller. I couldn't manage to pair my bluetooth headset (sony wh-1000xm3) with bluetooth controller. (Since BT devices can not be connected with CONSOLE via bluetooth, I try to connect BT headset with CONTROLLER).

How can I pair BT headset and controller?

    Thanks for your reply.

Using Official PS3 Wireless Headset with Xbox 360

The only way you can get the headset to work with the 360 is to hook up audio out from the 360 to an adapter that can pair with the headset. You wouldn't be able to use the mic on the headset, unless there's an adapter that takes the 2.5mm output from the
controller and pipes it to the same sort of adapter.

There is no way to "pair" a Bluetooth headset to the 360 directly.

    Cloud gaming with mic

    Hello IlVl420lnB,

Are you using the mobile app to chat in a party with your friends?

Make sure both the input and the output of the chat audio is coming from your headset by connecting your phone to the Bluetooth headset first and then connecting to the party. Does your Bluetooth headset have a mic?

Also, since you are playing on the TV make sure the party audio is not coming through the TV -- that can be another reason for the echo.

If you are using an Xbox controller connected to your phone via Bluetooth and you want to connect a wired headset to the controller, it will not transmit the audio from there.

Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects to Samsung frame TV, but does not work to control any functions on screen

    I have the same issue:

    * the plain Xbox controller (non elite) connects via bluetooth to the TV and is recognised by the Xbox cloud app on my Samsung TV. I can use it to play games using the Samsung Xbox app.

    * the brand new Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects via bluetooth to the TV and is NOT recognised by the Xbox cloud app.

I tried several attempts deleting the pairing, re-pairing. Turn off TV on the power switch. Re-installing the Xbox app on the Samsung TV.

The result is always the same:

    * The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller connects successfully to the TV and is shown as Paired and Connected in the Samsung TVs feature where you add external devices.
    * But the Xbox app shows the yellow ! exclamation mark and does not recognise the Elite Controller.

I’ve paired my other non Elite standard Xbox controller now vie Bluetooth and USB, which works both.

Is microphone supported on samsumg smart tv cloud gaming yet?

    Hello Joe-r-5,

I'm an Independent Advisor. Let me help you with your concern today. Please note that this is a public forum, I will be responding to you in short period of time and I apologize for a delay in response.

I understand your concern. You can use a Bluetooth headset, but microphone output isn’t currently supported. We're still waiting for that feature to be added. You can still use your headset to hear game and chat audio. Please note that when your controller is connected via Bluetooth, audio devices connected through the controller are not supported. To use a headset, connect your headset directly to your TV.

To begin using a Bluetooth headset for cloud gaming with your Samsung smart TV, pair your headset to the TV:

    >Launch a game from inside the Xbox app or from the Samsung Gaming Hub.

    >Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select the Headset icon. This will open the Samsung settings menu.

    >Select Audio > Bluetooth Speaker List.

    >Put your Bluetooth headset into pairing mode. When your TV detects your headset, select it from the list and then follow the prompts. Your headset should connect to your TV automatically the next time you turn it on.

    For you reference https://support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/cloud-...

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions or concerns about this.

    Regards,

    Belle
